Executive Administrative Intern

Objective:

To gain administrative experience and training while working for a non-profit organization committed to the end of child abuse. You’ll learn and develop state-of-the-art admin. skills, and work directly with the founder and COO.

Qualifications:

· Hard working, organized, and coachable
· Internet savvy
· Familiar with Excel and Word. Easily able to learn new computer programs and software
· You know how to figure out computer hardware, especially with Mac and backup systems
· Totally comfortable talking to ANYONE on the phone

Responsibilities:

· Research via internet. Read publications. Synthesize data.
· Manage phone & email communications
· Create graphic presentations for both Mac or PC
· Prepare reports for both Mac or PC
· Organize projects and files, and do all office-related duties and errands as assigned

Requirements:

· 6 month commitment.
· 10 hrs/wk, minimum
· Start immediately

Technical Intern

Objective:

To gain experience and training working for a non-profit organization committed to the end of child abuse, learning and developing your skills on an industry standard event management system while generating a manual for future use of the program.

Qualifications:

· Hard working, organized, and coachable
· Internet savvy
· Familiar with programming and have an intuitive sense of program development
· Love to learn new computer programs. Facile with the detailed workings of a system design
· Able to create a manual of the program details for other people to use

Responsibilities:

· Learn Team Raiser (Convio) Event Management system
· Maintain Event Sites for multiple events
· Create step-by-step manual of basic usage for the site
· Solve problems with event site and communicate with COO

Event Director & Fundraiser

Description:

The Rainbird Foundation, a 501(c)3 non-profit committed to the end of child abuse globally, is seeking a highly qualified professional to manage all events. This part-time job will quickly turn into a full time position as the number of events expands.

• Build Corporate sponsorship for each event and maintain these powerful alliances
• Build and maintain fundraising budget with COO
• Monthly report summarizing revenue, expenses, responses, etc...
• Produce events on a national scale

Research Intern

Objective:

Gain experience in research and communication while working with the MOB Unit, building short-term projects that cause long-term results for children. You will gain experience and training in developing your research skills.

Scriptwriter Intern

Objective:

Write campaign pieces & create actionable material for a non-profit committed to the end of child abuse. Youʼll get experience and training in honing your writing skills.

Mob Unit Take-A-Stand Leader

Take a Stand Leaders get people to take a stand for the end of child abuse. In Rainbird’s team called the Mobilization Unit, you’ll be part of a group that builds short-term projects to produce long-term results for children. The MOB Unit alters cultural perceptions and mobilizes people to take small steps for the End of child abuse.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Enroll 25 people per week to take a stand for the end of child abuse
• Strategize with the MOB Unit Director new ways to get people to take a stand
• Engage friends, social networks, and your community for the end of child abuse
• Recruit additional Take a Stand leaders.

Skills & Experience needed:

• Hard working, self-motivated team player with integrity
• Committed to the end of child abuse.
• Internet savvy.
• Goal orientated and unstoppable in the face of failure
• Punctual, committed.

Mob Unit Campaign Organizer

Ground organizers create and manage events in the community to get people involved in the end of child abuse.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Create and host MOB Unit events in your community
• Strategize ideas with the MOB Unit Director on a weekly basis
